What to bring

Single and multi day fishing trips

  • Tidal waters sports fishing license with a salmon tag (Paper copy, both pages) for each person going on the trip. Electronic version isn’t good enough because we fish areas that do not have cell reception so you cannot update the license.
  • Food and drinks for the day – There is a BBQ on the boat that is available to use.
  • Warm clothes and raingear
  • Gravol for seasickness – Best if taken the night before a trip and another one taken the morning of the trip. Gravol doesn’t really work the best if you wait to feel sick before you take it.
  • Large cooler (50L+) for transporting the fish from the boat to the fish processor and then for transporting the fish home with you. I provide fish bags if the fish doesn’t all fit in the cooler. Do not bring the cooler with you to the boat in the morning, leave the cooler in your vehicle until the end of the day.

Overnight trips - Sleeping on the boat

  • Tidal waters sports fishing license (Paper copy, both pages) for each person going on the trip. Electronic version isn’t good enough because we fish areas that do not have cell reception so you cannot update the license.
  • Food and drinks for the trip – There is a BBQ onboard, propane cook stove, plates and cutlery provided. Dry food should be in Rubbermaid bins so it can be stored on the roof. Try to bring only 1 cooler for food that needs to be kept cold. I provide a large cooler for storing the fish on ice and also another cooler for food.
