DC Charters

At DC Charters we strive to provide memories to last a lifetime, every time we leave the docks.

DC Charters operates a 2015 Kingfisher 2725 weekend premium fishing boat. Kingfisher boats are made right here in British Columbia and are specifically designed and constructed, to make the most comfortable experience on the water in the harshest conditions. This particular boat is equipped with a completely enclosed heated cabin, sleeping quarters, freshwater sink, shower, spacious head, dining table with seating and an onboard barbecue. It also has a custom-built roof rack system, designed to store gear for those two- and three-day fishing charters.

DC Charters is a first class guided charter operation that moors in world renowned Prince Rupert British Columbia, Canada. We also operate on the breathtaking waters of the Douglas Channel in beautiful Kitimat British Columbia, Canada.

Floating Lodge Overnight Fishing Trip Package

This floating lodge is located in beautiful Work Channel located about an hour from Prince Rupert. The lodge offers accommodations ranging from 2 person to 8 person cabins and has various amenities, including public showers, washrooms, and a communal area with dining tables and BBQs under a canopy.

Guests can enjoy wildlife sightings like humpback whales, seals, sea lions, and even grizzly bears. The lodge also provides storage for fish, ice, wifi , along with fresh coffee each morning.

Salt Water Sport Fishing

We fish for Pacific Salmon; Chinook and Coho being the heavy favorites. Our most popular bottom fish are Halibut, Ling Cod, and rock fish. But the excitement doesn't end there. Dive into the exhilarating world of crabbing, prawning, and shrimping with us. Experience the thrill of dropping traps and feel the anticipation build as we haul up a bounty of Dungeness crab, jumbo spot prawn, and delectable shrimp.

Secure your spot now, knowing that your deposit is fully transferable if your plans change as long as you reschedule for any available 2025 or 2026 dates.

🔹️If the captain determines it is unsafe to head out on the water, you'll be given the option to reschedule for another date or receive a full refund of your payment.

Enjoyed a 3 Day Charter with Dustin. Absolutely incredible fishing trip. This was my 2nd year fishing with DC Charters and both trips were a huge sucess! Your arms will be sore from all the fish! Well, our second trip this season with Dustin at DC Fish Charters is one for the books. We didn’t think it was possible to top the last trip but Dustin never failed to raise the bar. We had the opportunity to stay 2 nights out on the water, anchored in a secluded quiet bay right next to the fishing grounds in Dustin’s very comfortable King Fisher. All 3 mornings were filled with chaos and excitement when we ended up limiting out on Salmon while trying to cook breakfast. The high continued throughout the day as we switched to bottom fishing and caught a wide variety of fish alongside the targeted Halibut and Ling Cod. Overall it was another amazing experience and we already can’t wait to get back out on the water with Dustin next season!

Group of us had been planning a West Coast Father/Son Fishing trip for years and in July 2023 we finally made it happen. Had an amazing trip out of Prince Rupert with Dustin at DC Charters! 😁 Dustin was an awesome guide and a key part in making our trip such a memorable, fun adventure. He put us on fish all day, often having fish on 2 lines at a time, making for some good chaos and action on the big water! He even made time and set a couple traps and treated us to a fresh feast of prawns 🦐 one evening! Enjoyed Dustin’s interactions with us - his stories, humour and teachings. His boat is amazing - it’s clean, organized and his gear is top notch which all made for an experience we’ll remember. Dustin knows his fishing - he’s very professional, knowledgeable friendly and accommodating and it’s easy to see that he truly loves fishing 🎣 Highly recommend Dustin at DC Charters for everyone’s next fishing adventure! July 26, we went fishing with DC Charters. The trip was excellent, from the time the hooks hit the water until we were limited out we had a fish on and sometimes even 4 at a time. The boat is excellent and top of the line gear makes a difference. Dustin is a great guy and knows how and where to fish. Top shelf, thanks again Dustin, we will book again!!

Amazing Day out of Rupert we limited out on Halibut, got a few Cod and had a great time bringing in the coho. Followed by a bbq in the calm of one of the channels watching the whales playing in the distance! Highly recommend, very knowledgeable and helpful to those of us who aren’t a seasoned fisherman. Can’t wait to book again for next season!
